Warm clothes

Walking shoes

Swimming suit

Books

Computer / iPad

Personal Water bottle (preferably not plastic)

Personal internet connectivity (USB/MyFi)

02/

What do we do all day?

The main goal of the fast is rest as much as possible in order to allow the body to clean and heal itself. However, we have something planned every hour of the day, so don’t worry about getting bored.

03/

Will I have energy?

Energy levels can fluctuate tremendously during a fast. Some days you will prefer spending more time in your apartment taking it easy, and some days you will feel like you are ready for a workout. It is very rare that someone fasting collapses due to lack of energy.

04/

Won’t I get hungry?

During the first 2-3 days, yes, but we have ways to get around that. After that period, the body begins burning its reserves and hunger is no longer an issue.

05/

How much water do I need to drink?

Enough to avoid dehydration. The doctor will be monitoring your intake and check for signs that you are indeed getting enough water.

06/

How long should I fast?

That depends on your objectives and the current retreat duration. Generally, RH retreats range from 15 to 30 days. In the case of a 15 day retreat, participants fast for 10 days fasting with 5 days of re-feeding, and in the case of a 30-day retreat, they fast for 21 days with 9 days of re-feeding. The longer you fast, the more profound the results will be, however it’s not a competition. Fasting for less than 10 days generally isn’t enough time to achieve the desired goals. As Dr. Douglas Graham would say: "Fast for as short as possible, but for as long as necessary".

07/

Can I use my phone?

Yes, but it is recommended that you minimize the usage, and try to restrict it to family and friends, as opposed to work.

08/

How much weight will I lose?

On average, a person loses about ½ a kilo per day, however this is NOT a weight loss program.

09/

Can I leave the retreat grounds?

Yes, but only in the company of a staff member.

01/

When and Where does the next Juicing retreat take place?

03/

The event ONLY offers restricted calories plant-based smoothies and soups based on two options the attendees choose from: 800 Calories or1200 Calories based on your goals and activity levels

04/

Can children attend the retreat?

Our policy is that children are not allowed but young adults aged 20 or over can attend the retreat. However it is fundamentally an ‘adult’ environment where people have come to relax and unwind, so it is important that any young adult respects this.

05/

What do I need to pack?

The retreat is very casual so you just need to bring comfortable clothes and any personal items that will make your room stay more comfortable Ex. Your pillow. Trainers and sports attire are essential for Yoga, walks and exercising. You may also want to bring your swimsuit to participate in aqua gym activities and
snorkeling. Please check the weather as in April at night it may get chilly
